Alicia Silverstone hates the trappings of fame and insists being a celebrity is a horrific ordeal she wouldn't want her worst enemy to suffer.
The blonde beauty, who shot to fame after worldwide movie hit CLUELESS, hates the attention her film career has brought her and was particularly wounded when the world's press dubbed her "fatgirl" in the media following her rubber-clad role as BATGIRL in 1997's Batman + ROBIN.
Silverstone, 28, says, "Fame is not anything I wish on anyone.
"You start acting because you love it.
"Then success arrives, and suddenly you're on show."
