Alicia Silverstone says her first love was gay.
The 36-year-old actress - who starred in 1995 comedy movie 'Clueless' as ditzy blonde school student Cher Horowitz, whose boyfriend also turned out to be gay - admits she's fallen for homosexual men on several occasions and used to defend her first boyfriend when people would call him gay, until she found out the truth six years later.
She told Out magazine: ''I've had so many crushes on gay boys. My first love was so gay, and I didn't know. I used to defend him because everyone would say he was gay, but he'd say he wasn't. Then, about six years later, he had the big talk with me.''
Alicia - who married rock musician Christopher Jarecki in 2005 - recently admitted she used to apply an unorthodox method to feed the couple's son Bear Blue when he was 11 months old, which involved her chewing the little one's food and then spitting it in to his mouth.
She explained: ''People have been feeding their kids that way for thousands for years. It's a weaning process. Honestly, when I posted the video I was not thinking, so maybe I was like Cher (her character in 'Clueless')! I think it's adorable and it makes me laugh every time he does it.
''He attacks my mouth and I think it's adorable. He also knows how to use his hands and he also eats regular food so when babies are weaning, he still breastfeeds. Some people think that's disgusting too which is insane.''
