Alicia Keys brought New Yorkers to their feet at her special charity concert on Tuesday (01Dec09) when she introduced rap superstar JAY-Z to the stage for a rendition of their Big Apple anthem EMPIRE STATE OF MIND.
The stunning singer marked World AIDS Day with a show at the Nokia Theatre, wowing fans with renditions of her singles including No One, Fallin' and A Woman's Worth.
But she drew the biggest crowd reaction when she brought out surprise guest Jay-Z to perform their smash hit for the finale, which is currently ruling the U.S. pop chart.
The stars have performed the ode to their native New York at a number of high-profile events, including the MTV Video Music Awards in September (09), the recent American Music Awards and before Game 2 of the World Series baseball championship game between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies last month (Nov09).
Keys' concert was streamed live online on YouTube.com.
