Alicia Keys has posed as America's new First Lady Michelle Obama for a new Glamour magazine photoshoot.
The Fallin' singer appears on what looks like the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. holding the hands of two young girls - look-alikes of Obama daughters Sasha and Malia.
The picture is part of Glamour magazine's 70th Anniversary/American Icons issue.
The R&B star, who dons a blue Carolina Herrera dress, a black Michael Kors belt, Miriam Haskell necklace and black Christian Louboutin shoes, admits she was thrilled to be asked to portray Obama.
She says, "She has worked hard for everything she's accomplished, and done so with grace and humility. So many women and girls can identify with her story."
Lindsay Lohan and Hayden Panettiere are also among the modern young stars paying homage to past icons in the Glamour spread - Lohan portrays Madonna, while Heroes actress Panettiere dons flying gear to depict Amelia Earhart
