R+B superstar Alicia Keys is planning to add mystery writer to her impressive resume after signing up to turn her life into a series of literary whodunnits.

The FALLIN' singer, who has already penned a volume of poetry, is keen to write a series of young-adult mystery novels, in which she'll appear as detective.

ALICIA KEYS' STREET MYSTERIES will feature a series of books titled after different Keys songs and include her real-life pals LAVINIA RAMON and SCHULYER FRANKLIN.

The series will be co-written by the husband-and-wife writing team of CHERIE BENNETT and JEFF GOTTESFELD, who have written literary tie-ins to SMALLVILLE and DAWSON'S CREEK.
