British singer Alexandra Burke was so overcome with nerves as she rehearsed for a one-off performance in Les Miserables, she cleared the room of onlookers.
The Hallelujah hitmaker has signed up to appear in the show next month (Sep18) as part of the BBC's Children in Need Pop Goes the Musical 2012 fundraiser, in which stars perform London theatre cameos to raise money.
Burke has already began practising her set, and she is determined to do the best performance possible.
She tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "The cast of Les Miserables work so hard and I hope I'll live up to that. When I was rehearsing my song there were 10 people listening to me. I was shaking so much, I had to clear the room."
MACy Gray, Geri Halliwell and boy band Blue have also signed up for the fundraiser, and will take part in musicals across the West End.
