Alexander McQueen menswear will be showcased at London Collections: Men.

The British fashion house will unveil their new menswear line during the hotly-anticipated three-day fashion event from January 7 to 9 next year.

Jonathan Akeroyd, McQueen's chief executive, announced: ''It's great to be showing our menswear main line as part of London Collections: Men, especially with London being the home of Alexander McQueen and our first dedicated menswear store opening on Savile Row this autumn.''

This year marks the second outing for the innovative fashion showcase and McQueen is the second high-profile label after Tom Ford to sign up to present its new collection at the menswear show circuit.

Caroline Rush, British Fashion Council CEO, commented: ''We are delighted to announce that Alexander McQueen will be showing their mainline menswear collection at London Collections: Men from January.

''The schedule will include London's brightest menswear stars, British heritage and iconic brands, international names and Savile Row tailors to show across the three day Celebration of men's fashion.''

The star-studded event will be chaired by GQ editor Dylan Jones and the committee includes the likes of Christopher Bailey, Lulu Kennedy and Tinie Tempah.
