Alex Reid has reportedly accused his estranged spouse Katie Price of ''killing'' his cross-dressing alter-ego Roxanne.
Katie Price "killed" Alex Reid's cross-dressing alter-ego Roxanne.
The 35-year-old cage fighter - whose 11-month marriage to the former glamour model was revealed to be over earlier this week when she released a damning statement slamming her spouse for his fame-hungry attitude - has vowed to make the 32-year-old star "pay" for exposing his secret by making him dress up as Roxanne at a book launch in October 2009.
Alex told a friend: "Roxanne is dead and it was Katie who heartlessly exposed her. She murdered her. She is evil and she will pay."
The pal added to The Sun newspaper: "His upset has turned to anger. He's been himself since day one, which is why he allowed Katie to see him as Roxanne. He realises that was as big a mistake as the marriage. She betrayed his trust and will do anything to finish him off. People close to Alex are worried about his state of mind."
Meanwhile, Katie - who has three children, Harvey, eight, Junior, five, and Princess Tiaamii, from previous relationships - has now fled the UK to the lavish Swiss ski resort of Klosters, with her kids set to join her later in the month.
Her sudden decision came after Alex reportedly refused to leave the couple's marital home in Surrey, Southern England.
A friend of the star told the Daily Star newspaper: "Kate is in a mess, she has had weeks of torment and can't take much more. She has taken an extended break to Switzerland and is hoping that the time away will relax her.
"By the time she gets back, she hopes that things might have simmered down. And obviously she is keen that Alex takes the time to move out of the house and start planning a life without her."
