Alesha Dixon is a film believer in the age-old saying that beauty comes from within and thinks health is more important than vanity.
Alesha Dixon believes a positive attitude makes people beautiful.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge thinks a healthy lifestyle and a happy-go-lucky outlook are what make you attractive to other people, not how much time you spend preening yourself in the mirror.
She said: ''Beauty comes from within. If you put your health before vanity, you will have an inner glow.''
The 34-year-old singer has become a beauty ambassador for Avon, a role which she hopes to use to promote charitable causes close to her heart.
Alesha said: ''I love how much work they do to empower women, from the work they do with breast cancer and domestic violence to giving women independence through recruitment.''
In spite of her stunning figure, the former Mis-Teeq star claims she doesn't put much effort into keeping in shape and has never needed to resort to a diet.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: ''Whatever works for the individual person but I personally don't diet, I believe in moderation - 90 per cent of the time I'm very healthy, but if I fancy chocolate or crisps then I allow myself a treat and I don't feel guilty for it.
''I don't have any tricks! I enjoy exercising and I work out when I have the time.''
