Actor Alec Baldwin's former business partner is suing him, claiming he owes her $125,000 (GBP78,000) of his earnings from a recent television movie.
According to the lawsuit filed yesterday (12AUG03) in Los Angeles Superior Court, CORRINNE MANN and Baldwin formed EL DORADO PICTURES in 1995. They agreed to develop productions for film and television and split producer fees and profits from any joint projects.
But the lawsuit claims the 45-year-old actor never paid Mann half of the $250,000 (GBP156,000) he or the production company collected in fees from the TV movie SECOND NATURE.
Although the film aired on American TV channel TNT in June (03), Mann had helped develop it before she and Baldwin severed their relationship in 1998, said her attorney KEN NATHANSON.
Mann, who later formed her own production company, accuses Baldwin of fraud and breach of contract. Her lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.13/08/2003 20:54
