Following last night's live performance of 'Uninvited' with Alanis Morissette (December 21, 2011), Josh Krajcik is being tipped to win the 2011 series of The X Factor USA.
The contestants have been whittled down to just three and Krajcik now just needs to beat Melanie Amaro and Chris Rene to earn the title. He may have started out as an outsider but Krajcik has won over TV audiences with his performances of Christina Perri's 'Jar of Hearts' and 'Wild Horses' by The Rolling Stones. In an interview with KABC TV's 'On the Red Carpet' show, Krajcik admits that he has considered what he would do if he won the $5million prize (the winner will also secure themselves a recording contract). At the forefront of his mind was his daughter: "This would give me the opportunity to give her all the opportunities that she deserves." Not forgetting the practical issues in life, though, he also stated "my truck is about ready to die on me, so the first thing I'd do is probably buy a vehicle."
In the same show that Krajcik got to perform with Alanis Morissette, Chris Rene sang 'Complicated' with Avril Lavigne and Melanie Amaro paired up with R Kelly on 'I Believe I Can Fly'. With a two hour show scheduled for tonight (December 22, 2011), Krajcik is inching ever closer to the crown and though he started out as the underdog, it is looking increasingly likely that he may, in fact, be victorious.
