Todd Wade's The Appointment was an interesting low-budget noir. A decade later he turns to the ever-perilous internet for the inspiration for Look @ Me, a fair but repetitive straight-up thriller.

Tina (Elina Madison) is one of those girls that makes her living making videos and photos of herself and posting them on her website. She's never nude, only vaguely provocative, the idea being (I guess) that if her members hang on long enough she'll eventually let a nipple slip out or start humping the appliances.

The Appointment Review


Good
Todd Wade's directorial debut (reaching DVD eight years later) is surprisingly assured for a first feature shot for $31,000.

The story we've seen before in films ranging from The Last Seduction way back to Double Indemnity, with an apparently hapless pawn (in this case it's Don Cummings as Peter Bundle, a hawker of security systems) who gets caught up in a scam that promises him a fortune, not to mention the femme fatale who draws him into the web.
