British rapper Aggro Santos is facing a retrial over allegations he raped two women after a judge discharged the jury on Wednesday (29Aug12).
The 23 year old, real name Yuri Santos, was arrested in Chichester, England last May (11) as cops investigated claims a woman was assaulted in a hotel room. He was subsequently accused of involvement in another incident in Somerset, England the previous September (10).
The Candy hitmaker pleaded not guilty to two separate counts of rape in January (12), and he returned to court on 13 August (12) for the start of his trial.
However, the jury at Chichester Crown Court was discharged by Judge Claudia Ackner on Wednesday.
The judge released Santos and his friend Tyrelle Ritchie - who pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual assault - on conditional bail but warned the pair they may face a retrial in 2013.
