American rock gods Aerosmith have delighted fans by promising to release their new Blues-inspired album in January (04).
The veteran rockers, who are also gearing up for their forthcoming tour this autumn (03) as co-headliners with Kiss, are encouraged by the excited reaction of their audience.
And Guitarist Joe Perry has revealed that if, in the meantime, inspiration hits them - the later release date will mean new tracks can be incorporated.
He says, All the basics are done, we're probably three-quarters done with the overdubs. And there really aren't many to do, because we cut the album basically live.
"By having the record come out in January, it gives us a little more time, and if something else comes along, it will be real easy to cut it and throw it on there."01/07/2003 02:32
