Soul sensation Adele has denied rock band Seether their first number one album in the U.S. - her 21 has scored a ninth non-consecutive week atop the Billboard 200.
Seether's Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray enters at two, the group's highest chart position to date.
But the Brit isn't expected to hold onto the album crown for much longer - experts predict Lady Gaga's Born This Way will debut at one with sales of over 800,000 units when new figures are released next week (begs30May11).
Meanwhile, in the Hot 100 singles list, Adele is celebrating another chart-topper - Rolling In The Deep keeps Katy Perry's E.T. at two and rapper Pitbull climbs one place to three with Give Me Everything featuring Ne-Yo.
