James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment from the ‘Late Late Show’ never fails to disappoint, but this week he truly brought out the big guns when he was joined by Adele for an in-car sing-a-long. While Adele belted out some of her own classic hits, what was even more impressive was how good she proved to be at rapping and showing her girl power.

AdeleAdele channeled the Spice Girls and Nicki Minaj during ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with James Corden.

During the journey Adele spoke about being a huge Spice Girls fan back in the day (weren’t we all), adding, ‘It was a huge moment in my life when they came out. It was girl power, and it was these five ordinary girls who did so well and got out.”
