Adele has smashed another record by becoming the longest-serving chart star in Australia this century. Her 21 record has spent 30 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the album charts Down Under, breaking the record of 29 weeks previously held by Delta Goodrem. If Adele can score another five weeks at the top, the album will become the longest-serving in Australian chart history, overtaking Dire Straits' 1985 disc Brothers In Arms.
