Adele has changed her hair to honey-coloured blonde because it brings out her eyes.
The 'Rolling in the Deep' singer unveiled her new golden hair at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (12.02.12) - where she won six trophies - and her stylists say they chose it with her to bring out the blue in her eyes.
Colourist Lucy Holbrook of the Daniel Galvin salon in London told People.com: "We decided to colour Adele's hair a honey-coloured blonde as it suited her complexion and really brought out the colour of her eyes.
"It was important to elect a colour with plenty of depth to complement the bouncy voluminous styles that she favours."
Adele also had her hair dried in Veronica Lake-esque waves by the salon's creative director, Lino Carbosiero, who designed it to reflect the timeless retro-yet-new styling of her music.
She said: "We made Adele's hair shoulder-length and cut a long layer through the back so as to give her a bit of swing and some natural movement.
"We wanted to create an old classic with a modern twist."
