British singer Adele refuses to take sleeping pills when she flies, because she's worried about becoming addicted to them.
The jet-setting Chasing Pavements hitmaker hates medicating to help her fall asleep on flights to international concerts and promotional commitments, and she admits reading about Lindsay Lohan's alleged battle with prescription drugs has convinced her that pills aren't for her.
Adele tells Q magazine, "I'm probably the worst flier. I don't take Valium or nothing like that 'cause I'm scared I'll end up being the next Lindsay Lohan - popping sleeping pills.
"Plus I don't want to be out of it if the plane crashes. I want to be aware and call my mum."
