The stars of two of the year’s most memed videos could be getting together for an epic collaboration.
Adele has said she’s keen to work with Drake on an official remix of his hit song 'Hotline Bling’. Much like Adele’s ‘Hello’, ‘Hotline Bling’ became one of the year’s most memed music videos after it’s release in July, with clips of Drake dancing popping up all over the internet.
Adele wants to work with Drake on a remix of ‘Hotline Bling’.
Speaking to etalk, Adele said she’s even tried her hand at imitating some of Drake’s famous moves from the video. "I had a drink like three weeks ago [with] my best friends, in fact it was to celebrate ‘Hello’,” the singer said.
“And I was off my face because I don't really drink anymore, and they've got video of me dancing to it on a coffee table as well. I really want us to do an official remix. I love Drake. I love Drake so much.”
“I even got the coat that's in the video, I got it delivered the other day, I ordered it. The red one.” It seems that Drake may actually be up for working with Adele. The rapper recently shared a drawing of himself and the ‘Hello’ singer to his Instagram account, with the caption, ‘Me and my main ting just coolin.’
Adele has also spoken about ‘Hello’s’ massive success, which saw the video overtake Taylor Swift for most Vevo streams in a single day.“I love Taylor Swift, and when I found out I was like that's pretty epic,” Adele added. “Not beating her but just being on the same level as her was fantastic, because I think she's wonderful.”
