Adele wants to finally get her driving licence so she can drive her baby around and has been using her recent time off to prepare for her test
Adele is using her downtime to prepare for her driving test.
The 'Skyfall' singer - who has been enjoying a well earned break since giving birth to her first child, Angelo, last October - is eager to finally get her licence now that she has more time to practice behind the wheel.
A source close to the 24-year-old British hitmaker told The Sun newspaper: ''She's never taken a test because of her busy schedule over the past few years. Now she's back in the country she wants to use her downtime to finally pass her test.
''She may have various awards to her name but all she wants is her driving test certificate. There will be no sports cars though - she is eyeing up a more family-friendly car so she can carry the whole clan.''
The singer reportedly put off taking her test until now due to the huge success of her album '21' in 2011, but wants to take it as soon as possible so she can start driving her five-month-old son, whose father is her charity worker boyfriend Simon Konecki, around.
Adele, who owns homes in London and Brighton, South East England, was recently said to be planning to move from the UK to Los Angeles after falling in love with the city during a visit for the Oscars, where she won Best Song last month.
A source previously said: ''Adele can see the benefits of bringing up a child in the US. They can be outside, enjoying the weather and loving life out of the spotlight.
''Los Angeles is a great place for children to grow up and she intends on working a lot more with a new album. She could afford to put a studio in her house. That way she could beaver away on new music without having to worry.''
