Adele is heading stateside next summer for a massive North American tour.
Hello North America, Adele has just announced she’ll be heading to your shores for a massive tour beginning next July. After her UK and European dates sold out in minutes, Adele has now revealed she’ll be headed to the US, just one month after the first leg of her tour wraps up.
Adele has just announced her North American tour.
Adele’s first stop will be in Minnesota on July 5th at the Xcel Energy Center. The tour will continue throughout the summer, including six dates at the Los Angeles Staples Center in August. From there she will travel to the East Coast, stopping off at New York's Madison Square Garden for six shows in late September.
Adele will then hit Canada in October, stopping in Montreal and Toronto. Then she'll head back to the US, stopping in Dallas and Miami, before concluding in Mexico City on November 15th. Tickets for the North American tour go on sale this Friday, (December 17th).
The tour will be Adele’s first major US tour in five years. In 2011 Adele was forced to cancel dates during her ‘Adele Live’ North American tour as she suffered from laryngitis, a chest infection and a vocal cord haemorrhage.
Adele’s latest album 25 has so far sold over five million copies in the US to date. Tonight (December 14th) NBC will air an one-hour special, 'Adele Live in New York City', from Radio City Music Hall. The special concert was filmed on November 17th and features Adele performing tracks from 25, as well as back-catalogue classics.
