Adele has married her fiance Simon Konecki in a secret ceremony surrounded by close family and friends, according to the UK's Daily Mail. A guest at the nuptials confirmed it was a "fabulous occasion", with the 'Rolling in the Deep' star wearing "classic attire" and her groom looking "very smart and joyous".
It seals an unlikely romance for the pair, with the bearded Konecki, 38, a former student at Eton before marrying the fashion stylist Clary Fisher, becoming a director at an investment holding company, and later setting up his own eco-company. He was introduced to Adele through the singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, reportedly falling for her immediately. He already has one daughter with Clary, though Adele is currently pregnant with their first child together. U.S. magazine Life and Style aroused suspicions of a possible marriage last month, snapping Adele with a gold wedding band and quoting a source as saying, "She's an old-fashioned girl and can't wait to be part of a family unit. She just wants to focus on the baby and the man she loves".
Adele announced her pregnancy in June via her website, though there have been no updates since then. The 24-year-old was spotted earlier this month enjoying a quiet dinner at Eight Over Eight in London, before window shopping at Fulham Road's antiques shops and bookstores.
