Adam Lambert, one of the most successful 'American Idol' alumni ever, was brought down to earth outside a bar in Helsinki, Finland after becoming embroiled in a fight with his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen which led to the pair being arrested - clearly no petty spat then.
Tmz.com reports that Lambert and Koskinen initially started sniping at each other whilst inside, but that was the only the beginning as things stepped up a notch and the couple spilled outside and started getting aggressive with each other, and in Lambert's case also getting physical with those who were trying to break up the disagreement. It left the local police no choice but to take the pair into custody where they were questioned and subsequently released after it was found that neither of them were injured. There's been no official word from the pop star yet, but boyfriend Koskinen has come out publicly about it, philosophically commenting on a blog "Publicity is not easy, but also celebrities are just human. Love is not easy either, but it lasts forever!"
Lambert was a runner-up in 2009's season of 'American Idol' but went on to gain commercial success when major label debut LP 'For Your Entertainment' went in at number three on the US Billboard Charts later that year. In 2010 the 29 year-old went on a worldwide tour titled 'The Glam Nation tour', becoming the first 'American Idol' contestant to achieve such a run of dates. His new album 'Trespassing' is set for release in the new year.
