Abbey Clancy is "gutted" to be moving to Stoke following her husband's transfer there.

The Liverpool-born model married long-term partner and England striker Peter Crouch earlier this year (2011) and had been enjoying life in London until the recent change of clubs has meant the couple are now moving to Stoke-upon-Trent. Speaking to The Mirror at the recent GQ awards she said "Yep, I'm gutted Peter had to leave. I love London. My work's here and we've been happy here, plus Mum just moved down. We can commute but it's not ideal." The 25-year-old also caught pundit and son of Peter's former manager Jamie Redknapp on the shoulder and said "Tell your dad I want to kill him!" following the transfer which she described as a "nightmare".

Clancy was born in Liverpool and also has a brother that plays professional football. She first appeared in the spotlight in summer 2006 on Britain's Next Top Model and later went onto model in several magazines and newspapers. She has also starred in several television programmes including James Corden's World Cup Live as a regular guest during the last world cup in South Africa 2010. In 2011 she also co-hosted the reality TV series Great British Hairdressers which scouted the country for creative and imaginative stylists. The model also has a 6-month-old daughter Sophia Ruby with her husband.
