LATEST: The Clinton Foundation is still angry with the makers of ABC drama THE PATH TO 9/11, accusing the US TV network of "choosing fiction over fact and entertainment over education". ABC reedited the first part of the show in response to criticism from the Clinton Foundation, which suggested that the Clinton administration failed to deal with the Islamic threat before 2001. But the Foundation was still angry over the portrayal of the Clinton government, in particular the suggestion that President Clinton was "too preoccupied" with impeachment and the Monica Lewinsky scandal to focus on the terrorist threat. Foundation spokesman JAY CARSON says, "Their claims of edits notwithstanding, The Path to 9/11 had Clinton administration officials saying things they did not say and doing things they did not do. "Many of these scenes are directly contradicted by the 9/11 Commission Report. The American public deserved better."
