Katherine Jenkins - Today sees the launch of the Sure Skipathon in support of Sport Relief, encouraging the nation to get moving and help change lives. Pro-skippers from The British Skipping Rope Association and Streets United, known for their show stopping skipping skills, have taken to iconic landmarks like Westminster Bridge and Abbey Road to get the nation skipping mad. Katherine Jenkins, OBE, is one of the first celebrities to take up the challenge, after being shown the ropes at the re-named Skipadilly Circus and donating the first skip for Sport Relief. She says; "I'm a big fan of skipping to keep fit and I make sure it's always incorporated into my weekly routine. Skipping is one of the most fun, cheap and effective exercises you can do. When you skip, you can't help but smile! The Sure Skipathon for Sport Relief is a great incentive to get moving for a fantastic cause." Sure is encouraging the nation to contribute to the target of one million skips as part of the month-long Sure Skipathon, to unlock a donation of £200,000 to Sport Relief, which will help make a difference to people living incredibly tough lives, both here at home in the UK and across the world's poorest communities. Sure, an official Sport Relief Partner, has put skipping at the heart of its campaign to get the nation moving more and having fun, after research revealed that two of thirds Brits find it impossible to skip without a smile on their face (62 per cent), and over half of the nation (55 per cent) stating that it evokes positive memories of a happy childhood. When it comes to the benefits of skipping, over three quarters (77 per cent) recognise that it is good for health and wellbeing, with 83 per cent of those polled admitting that the exercise is something that they would like to do more of. Sure recently launched the world's first antiperspirant with Motionsense technology that is activated directly by movement, so what better excuse to show off your skipping skills for Sport Rel at Abbey Road - London, United Kingdom - Wednesday 17th February 2016

Frank Ocean has been collaborating with Rick Rubin.
Frank Ocean's hugely anticipated second album appears to have been recorded, in some part at least, at Abbey Road Studios in London. The French pianist Christophe Chassol told the BBC's Gilles Peterson that he collaborated with Ocean on new material at the famous venue.
Frank Ocean recorded some of his new album with Rick Rubin at Abbey Road Studios
"Ocean invited me to Abbey Road to record on his album. I asked him how he heard about me. He told me his friend Diplo was listening a lot to [my album]Indiamore, and they started to listen to it, and they were wondering how I was doing the speech harmonization, so he called me. He asked me to do some speech harmonization on a song with him," Chassol told Peterson. "After a while, it was cool and he was like, 'yeah, but we have to find another way because you already did it'."

People can look inside the legendary recording studio for the first time, thanks to an in-depth and interactive web app launched by Google.
London’s most famous recording studio Abbey Road has partnered with Google to offer a rare glimpse inside the hallowed building.
The likes of The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Stevie Wonder laid down some of their best material in the north London studio, but it has not been accessible to the public since it shut its doors to those not recording music in 1931, but now it’s being opened up via an incredibly detailed recreation by the tech giants.

Fancy working at the Abbey Road zebra crossing?
A Westminster councillor is making plans to create a job opening for a lollipop lady or man to work at the famous 'Beatles' zebra crossing outside the Abbey Road Studio. Hundreds of music fans visit the crossing in St John's Wood each day, slowing traffic by recreating the famous album cover.
The Beatles famously walked across the zebra crossing for the cover of their seminal 'Abbey Road' album cover
Business owners and local residents have complained about pedestrian safety, traffic issues and graffiti caused by the tourist destination. Councillor Lindsey Hall is looking to install a lollipop lady or man at the site, to act as the "eyes and ears" for the council when such issues arise.
