Aaron Eckhart feels like he's invisible when he's in public because no one approaches him despite being a film star.
Aaron Eckhart feels like ''the invisible man'' when he's in public.
The 45-year-old actor has enjoyed huge success in the movie business starring in hits such as 'The Dark Knight', 'Thank You for Smoking' and new action film 'Olympus Has Fallen' - in which he plays a kidnapped US President - but he can still walk around in public and not be bothered.
In an interview with the Metro newspaper, Aaron said: ''I'm the invisible man. People don't have conceptions of me. I'm not someone people think about unless I'm in a movie. I can walk down any street and not worry about it.''
After appearing in so many acclaimed movies, Eckhart feels ready to try his hand at directing and believes his little known musical abilities will be a help when he eventually steps behind the camera.
He also believes his go-out-and-get-it attitude to life means he will achieve his career change.
He said: ''I've written songs my whole life. I'm pretty good with concepts. I'm not a nuts-and-bolts details guy ... Never ask permission. Just go out and f***ing do it. If you've got an idea, don't ask permission ... just go out and do it. You can do it as well as anyone else can.''
