Aaron Carter has vowed to carry on with U.S. reality show Dancing With The Stars despite an agonising leg injury.
The pop star hurt his knee in a tumble during dress rehearsals on Monday (05Oct09) and the pain was so bad he consulted with a doctor on Tuesday (06Oct09).
He writes on his Twitter.com page, "I have to get X-rays on my knee! Let's hope I don't need any shots. Even though they've already said I do!"
But Carter is determined the show must go on, adding, "The important thing is to keep your head up and I was keeping my head up and pushed through it, you know. There's people who go through all kinds of worse injuries you know - football players who rip their hamstrings and all kinds of stuff and they still push through it."
Carter is the latest of this year's (09) contestants to seek medical treatment. Singer Mya needed stitches after slicing her hand on broken glass and model Kathy Ireland was injured while surfing in Santa Barbara, California with her son Erik.
