Tragic singer Aaliyah's family have distanced themselves from Drake's new album, which features unheard samples of the R&B star, insisting they are not supporting the project.
Drake debuted one new track, Enough Said, which features Aaliyah's voice, online on Sunday (05Aug12) and then performed it at his annual Ovo Festival in Canada - much to fans' delight.
But the late singer's brother Rashad Haughton is keen for fans to realise he and his family are not behind the venture.
He says, "There is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family."
And it seems family members are keen to release an official posthumous Aaliyah album to rival Drake's project.
In a post on the singer's Facebook.com page, they write, "Do you want an Aaliyah album? If so, who should executive produce it or be featured on it? The Haughton Family would love to hear what her Fans have to say?"
