Executives at 20th Century Fox Television are planning to revamp the series, which featured Mr. T and George Peppard as mercenaries for hire.

Fast & Furious writer/producer Chris Morgan has been tasked with giving the show a contemporary feel, while The A-Team creator Stephen J. Cannell's TV director daughter Tawnia MCKiernan is also attached to the project.

Sources claim the new team will feature at least one female.

The original A-Team was rounded out by Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz, while Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and Sharlto Copley starred in a 2010 movie adaptation of the series.
