50 Cent's G-UNIT sidekick Tony Yayo is slated to play rap legend Krs-One in a new movie about the birth of hip-hop.
Yayo is among a number of top rap names considering roles in new film Vapors, including Nas and David Banner.
He says, "I'm going to play KRS-One... That's 50's favourite rapper... They're trying to do it right now."
Akeelah + The Bee star Keke Palmer and Diana Ross' son Evan have already signed up for the film, about the legendary Juice Crew collective. Palmer will play Roxanne Shante in the film and Ross will portray MC Shan.
