The In Da Club hitmaker has made it very clear on that he is interested in romancing Henson, despite previously taking aim at her hit new drama series amid allegations it bares striking similarities to his own rap-based TV series, Power.

Back in January (15), 50 Cent insisted he liked Empire stars Henson and Terrence Howard, but was not a fan of the way the Lee Daniels-created show was being promoted.

Oscar nominee Henson fired back at the criticism on Twitter days later, taking a swipe at 50 by stating, "I pay attention to $'s (dollars) NOT cents. I couldn't even find the 'cent' sign (on her keyboard)!!"

However, it appears 50 Cent is willing to overlook the jab as he launches a bid to date the actress.

In a recent Instagram post, he wrote, "Taraji you fine... I'm going to have to date you one day. How do you know this aint (sic) the love connection we've been waiting for."

He didn't stop there - he also left a comment on an Instagram video Henson posted last week (ends03Apr15), when she showed off her Nike workout gear, writing, "I see your fine a** though".

50 Cent has since removed both posts from the social networking site, according to Henson has yet to comment on the rapper's crush.
