Former boxing champion FRANK BRUNO has escaped a driving ban after he was caught travelling at 105 miles (168 kilometres) per hour.
The British star was heading home from a charity event in June (10) when his car was pulled over by police for breaking the 70 miles (112 kilometres) per hour speed limit.
The former world heavyweight champ faced the possibility of being banned from the roads - but he was instead given six points on his licence at a hearing in Cambridge, England last week (beg09Aug10).
Officials were told a driving ban would prevent Bruno from continuing his charity work for children with special needs.
