Actress Glenn Close has vowed to never again impersonate her evil 101 Dalmatians character in front of a young child, after reducing one little boy to tears.
Close plays villainess Cruella De Vil in the children's movie and its sequel, 102 Dalmatians.
But the 60-year-old has realised impersonating De Vil's evil laugh in real life can terrify children.
She says, "I learned the hard way - a child came up to me and I thought I'd be Cruella. I looked just like my character (at the time).
"And I did the evil Cruella laugh, and the child burst out crying. I felt so awful."
British actress Joely Richardson is set to return to the cast of hit US drama NIP/TUCK after putting her career on hold to care for her sick daughter.
The 101 Dalmatians star temporarily quit the show last year (06) to spend time with her teenage daughter, DAISY, in London.
Daisy was diagnosed with circulation problems in her legs when she was born and she has been in and out of hospital recently.
Richardson feared she'd have to give up her role in the plastic surgery drama for good, but producers are desperate to have her back.
She says, "I never actually left the series. I just needed time out for a personal reason, which they very kindly gave me and it was just three episodes... It wasn't a dramatic exit on any level.
"I'm definitely contracted for a fifth season of the show. We're just talking about it now."

The actress says, "Surgeons and hospitals have been a big part of our lives. We were always told that she would have to have more surgeries when she got older. The time has come."
Richardson admits she had no choice when it came to deciding to quit her hit show.
She adds, "I love my work but I had to be in two places at once and I thought, 'If it were all over tomorrow, what would I regret?' It would be not being there for her."
Richardson fears she'll never be able to return to Nip/Tuck, but series creator RYAN MURPHY is hoping her character JULIA MCNAMARA, will be back.
He says, "I don't want to do the show without her."
